ZWCAD 2011 offers users two types of parametric constraints (geometric and dimensional) that enable the associative design and editing of objects, which will redefine the way users design in 2D by improving accuracy and reducing editing time, according to the company.
The free trial is intended to enable users to fully test the product, with the same functionality as a purchased licence.
ZWCAD 2011 is claimed to offer comprehensive 2D performance (with ZWCAD Standard) and expansive 3D capabilities (with ZWCAD Professional).
The DWG-based CAD tool reads and writes the same industry-standard formats produced by past and present versions of AutoCAD, eliminating the need for costly translations and rework.
The application features a familiar user interface, meaning that no retraining is required.
After the 30-day trial, ZWCAD 2011 Standard/Professional retail prices are GBP430 (Standard)/GBP530 (Professional), with GBP120 (Standard)/GBP150 (Professional) for optional subsequent yearly updates, maintenance, and user technical support.
